POLICIES.

Our payment terms for tournament registration, refund policy for team-initiated cancellations, and the weather-related credit policy for shortened or cancelled events. Read carefully before registering.

TOURNAMENT PAYMENT POLICY

Below are the Northeast Premier Baseball tournament payment policies. Failure to abide by these policies may result in the forfeiture of a tournament spot.

DepositTo secure a spot in a tournament, a deposit by check or credit card is required. This secures your spot until final payment is due. Teams have 7 days to make payment to avoid a team on the wait list taking their spot.
Final PaymentFinal payment for all tournaments is due one month prior to the start of the tournament. When a tournament age division is considered closed or sold out, final payment is due within 7 days.
Payment ReminderApproximately 15 days before the final payment due date, an email reminder will be sent to coaches who still have an outstanding balance.
Late PaymentIf final payment is not received by the due date, coaches will be contacted and given one full business day to make payment. If there is no contact made after one business day, Northeast Premier Baseball will contact the first team on the wait list, and the original team will forfeit their spot.
Late RegistrationIf a coach is registering for a tournament inside of one month prior to the start date, full payment is required at registration.
Credit Card SurchargeAll credit card refunds will be subject to a 3% (+/–) surcharge fee from the credit card company.
Wait ListA wait list is kept for each tournament. Coaches on the wait list will be contacted in the order their calls were received. When contacted, coaches have 24 hours to respond before we move to the next team.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds for team-initiated cancellations are based on how far in advance the cancellation is made. All approved refunds are issued as event credits.

30+ Business DaysFull refund less any administrative fees. Applies when brackets have not been posted.
15–29 Business DaysFull refund issued as event credit.
10–14 Business Days50% refund issued as event credit.
9 or Fewer Business DaysNo refund available.
Division CancellationComplete refund if there are insufficient teams to form a division.
Brackets PostedNo refunds are issued once brackets have been posted or an age group is listed as WAITLIST.
Credit Card SurchargeCredit card refunds are subject to a 3% (+/–) surcharge from the card processor.
Credit ValidityAll event credits are valid for one year from the date of issue.

WEATHER-RELATED REFUND POLICY

When games are shortened or cancelled due to weather, credit vouchers are issued based on the number of games played and the event format. Weather policies do not apply to discounted tournaments.
