Our Terms of Service — the rules and conditions for using our tournaments and registering your teams.

Effective Date: September 2, 2026

Welcome to npbtournaments.com, operated by Northeast Premier Baseball LLC ("NPB," "we," "us"). By using this website — and in particular by registering a team or making a payment — you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

1. What This Site Does

This website provides information about NPB youth baseball tournaments — schedules, standings, rosters, and news — and it is also where teams register for tournaments and pay entry fees. Sections 4 through 7 govern those transactions and are the most important part of this document.

2. Who May Use It

This site is intended for adults: parents, guardians, coaches, team administrators, and supporters. Accounts are for adults. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for any use of this site relating to a child under 18, including information entered on a team roster.

3. Accounts

If you create an account you agree to provide accurate, current information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Entry Fees and Payments

Tournament entry fees are as displayed at the time of registration. All amounts are in U.S. dollars. The complete payment schedule is on our Policies page and forms part of these Terms.

Deposits. A deposit secures your spot until final payment is due. Teams have 7 days to make that payment, or a team on the wait list may take the spot.

Final payment. Final payment is due one month before the tournament start date. If an age division is closed or sold out, final payment is due within 7 days. Registering inside one month of the start date requires full payment at registration.

Reminders and late payment. We send an email reminder roughly 15 days before the final payment due date to coaches with an outstanding balance. If final payment is not received by the due date, we will contact the coach and allow one full business day to pay. With no response after one business day, we will contact the first team on the wait list and the original team forfeits its spot.

Wait list. A wait list is kept for each tournament. Coaches are contacted in the order their requests were received and have 24 hours to respond before we move to the next team.

Card payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Your card statement will reference Northeast Premier Baseball.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Our full refund and weather policy — including the credit amounts that apply when a tournament is shortened — is on the Policies page, which governs. The summary below is provided for convenience; where the two differ, the Policies page controls.

Withdrawal by your team, measured in business days before the tournament, and provided brackets have not been posted:

  1. 30 or more business days: full refund, less any administrative fees.

  2. 15 to 29 business days: full refund issued as event credit.

  3. 10 to 14 business days: 50% refund issued as event credit.

  4. 9 or fewer business days: no refund.

Once brackets have been posted, or once an age group is listed as WAITLIST, no refunds are issued.

If NPB cancels a division because there are not enough teams to form it, you receive a complete refund.

Weather and shortened tournaments. If play is cut short, compensation is issued as an event credit voucher on the schedule set out on the Policies page, which varies by age group and by how many games were played. Event credits are valid for one year from the date of issue.

If a spot cannot be honored. If two teams complete payment for the same last remaining spot, the later registration is cancelled automatically and refunded in full.

Card processing surcharge. Credit card refunds are subject to a 3% (+/-) surcharge retained by the card processor. This cost is not recoverable by NPB and is deducted from refunds paid by card.

How to request a refund. Contact us using the details in section 17.

Schedule changes are not cancellations. Game times, fields, formats, and brackets may change — see section 6.

6. Schedules, Weather, and Field Conditions

Game schedules, tournament formats, and event details may change because of weather, field conditions, facility availability, the number of teams entered, or other circumstances. We will communicate changes as promptly as we can.

We are not responsible for travel, lodging, time off work, or other costs you incur as a result of a schedule change, a postponement, or a cancellation. We strongly recommend that you avoid non-refundable travel arrangements. Refund rights for cancelled or shortened tournaments are set out in section 5 and are not affected by this paragraph.

7. Team Requirements

Participating teams must satisfy NPB's tournament rules, including proof of insurance, roster and age-eligibility requirements, and any facility rules that apply. These requirements are set out on our Policies page. A team that has not satisfied them will not be permitted to play, and section 5's withdrawal terms apply.

8. Participation and Assumption of Risk

Baseball involves inherent risks of injury. Participation in NPB events is voluntary.

These website Terms are not a liability waiver. Participation in NPB events may require a separate written waiver and release, signed by each participant or by a parent or legal guardian for participants under 18. Where NPB requires one, it is a condition of participation and governs injury and medical matters. Nothing in this section 8 replaces that document.

9. Photographs and Media

Photographs and video taken at NPB events may be used on this website, on social media, and in promotional materials.

You may opt out at any time, for yourself or your child. Send a written request to the address or email in section 17 identifying the person concerned, and we will stop using their image going forward and remove existing images from material we control where reasonably practicable.

10. Intellectual Property

Website content — logos, graphics, schedules, photographs, and text — is owned by or licensed to Northeast Premier Baseball LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission. Teams may reproduce their own schedules and results for their own non-commercial use.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to post offensive, threatening, harassing, or inappropriate content; attempt to gain unauthorized access to or disrupt the website; upload malicious software; impersonate another person; or use the website in violation of any applicable law. We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

This site links to and relies on third-party services, including Stripe for payments. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites.

13. Disclaimer

Information on this website is provided "as is." We work to keep schedules, standings, and rosters accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northeast Premier Baseball LLC, its officers, coaches, volunteers, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of this website or any single tournament registration will not exceed the amount you paid for that registration.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and this section does not apply to injury claims, which are governed by section 8 and any separate waiver.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It includes a section on children's information that parents and guardians should read.

16. Governing Law and Changes to These Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted and apply to your continued use of the website. Changes to sections 4 and 5 do not apply retroactively — the entry fee, deposit, and refund terms in effect at the time you completed a registration continue to govern that registration.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
