Privacy.
Our Privacy Policy — how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Effective Date: September 2, 2026
Northeast Premier Baseball LLC ("NPB," "we," "us") operates npbtournaments.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
We ask you to read the section on children's information carefully, because this site is used to register youth teams and we collect information about players who are minors.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and optionally a phone number and profile image. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash — we cannot read your password, and nobody at NPB can tell you what it is.
Team information. When you create a team we collect the team name, age group, and coach name.
Player information. When you add players to a roster we collect the player's name and, if you provide them, jersey number, fielding positions, batting and throwing hand, and date of birth. Date of birth is used to confirm age-group eligibility for divisions. See section 4.
Registration and payment information. When you register a team for a tournament we record which division you registered for, the status of the registration, amounts paid, and identifiers issued by our payment processor.
We never receive or store your card number. Card details are entered directly into a payment form hosted by Stripe and are held by Stripe, not by us. What we store is the amount, the payment status, a receipt link, and Stripe's reference identifiers.
Contact form submissions. If you use our contact form we collect your first and last name, email address, optional phone number, the topic, your message, and the IP address the submission came from. The IP address is retained to help us identify and block spam and abuse.
Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe we collect your email address and a record of where you subscribed from.
Technical and usage information. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless and does not build a profile of you or track you across other websites. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.
Sign-in cookies. We set a session cookie when you sign in so the site can keep you signed in. It is required for the site to function and is not used for advertising.
Administrative records. We keep an internal log of significant administrative actions (for example, changes to payment settings) recording who acted and when. This is an integrity and accountability record.
2. How We Use Information
To create and maintain your account and keep you signed in
To process tournament registrations and payments, and to send receipts and confirmations
To determine division and age-group eligibility
To operate tournaments — producing schedules, brackets, standings, and rosters
To contact you about a registration, a schedule change, or a question you sent us
To send newsletters, if you asked for them
To protect the site against fraud, spam, and abuse
To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
3. Payment Processing
Payments on this site are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
This site runs on the Tourney tournament platform, which operates the payment integration on NPB's behalf. As a result, the charge on your statement is associated with Northeast Premier Baseball, while the underlying payment processing is carried out through the platform's Stripe account. Both NPB and the platform operator have access to transaction records — amounts, dates, and registration details, but never full card numbers — for the purposes of accounting, refunds, and resolving payment disputes.
4. Children's Information
This site is designed to be used by adults — parents, guardians, coaches, and team administrators. Accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or submit their own information.
Information about minors reaches us in one way: an adult enters it when building a team roster. That information is limited to what is needed to run a youth baseball tournament — the player's name, and optionally jersey number, positions, batting and throwing hand, and date of birth.
We do not use players' information for marketing. We do not sell it. We do not disclose it beyond what section 5 describes.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child's information is on this site without your consent, or you want it corrected or removed, contact us using section 11 and we will remove it promptly.
5. Who We Share Information With
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
Service providers who operate the site for us. Each is bound to use the information only to provide its service:
Stripe — payment processing
Vercel — website hosting and cookieless analytics
Neon — database hosting
Resend — sending transactional email such as receipts and confirmations
The Tourney platform operator, which provides and maintains the software
Tournament operations. Team names, rosters, schedules, brackets, and standings are shown publicly on the site as part of running a tournament. Assume roster information you enter may be visible to other participants and to the public.
Venues and governing bodies, where a facility or league requires participant or insurance information as a condition of play.
Legal reasons — where we are required by law, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.
6. Photographs and Video
Photographs and video taken at NPB events may be used on this website, on social media, and in promotional material. If you do not want your child's image used, tell us in writing using the contact details in section 11 and we will honor that request. See the Photographs and Media section of our Terms & Conditions.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep account, team, and roster information for as long as your account is active. We keep registration and payment records for as long as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes, which is typically several years after the transaction. Contact form submissions and their IP addresses are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and address abuse.
If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information except where we are required to retain financial records.
8. Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Card details never reach our systems. Administrative functions are restricted to authorized accounts, and significant administrative actions are logged.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
9. Your Choices
Access and correction — you can view and update your account, team, and roster information when signed in, or ask us for help
Deletion — you can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to records we must keep
Newsletter — every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time
Photographs — see section 6
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. Contact us and we will honor any rights that apply to you.
10. Third-Party Links
This site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.
